Dr. Alok Adholya hold a doctorate in microbiology. He did his B.S. in Biology and then his M.S. in Botany from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. His research interests include Soil fertility, soil and plant microbiology, nutrient cycling, bioremediation using microbes and plants, mass production of mycorrhizae biofertilizer using transformed root organ cultures, Molecular characterization.
His expertise is in Rhizobium isolation, purification, characterization & screening for efficiency. He is also well abreast with Mycorrhizal isolation, characterization, inoculation, colonization assessment & efficiency tests.
Dr. Adholya has received numerous awards including “Biotech Product & Process Dev. & Commercialization Award”, “Paryavaran Sanrakshan Award”, “Gwalior Ratna”, etc. He is a member of editorial board of a number of Indian & International Journals & has 80 publications to his credit. Dr. Adholya has also written a book on “Production and Technology of Bio-Diesel – Seeding a change”.
